My Care Philosophy and Owner Bio
My Philosophy
Children learn best through having fun. Exposure to many different facets of life only serves to enhance this learning experience. While I may utilize so-called “educational materials”, nothing can take the place of first-hand experience. It is for this reason that music, dance, art, food, reading, outdoor and indoor play, peaceful rest, and learning about different cultures will always be mainstays in my interaction with your children.
It is my biggest wish to effectively integrate both mine and the parents’ child-rearing philosophies for the ultimate benefit of your child’s personal growth. I like to think of my services as
“second nurture.”

I choose to work in child care because this where my passion lies. To care for a child, teach them, help them make their own educated decisions in their lives – what more honorable and fulfilling form of employment could there be?
From the age of 10 on, I have been in babysitting, or working as a “mother’s helper.” I have taken several courses regarding child care, from the Red Cross certification I received in elementary school, to the child development classes in high school, and being certified in CPR/blood apthogen. My life has always been one which has involved children on some level.
Past formal employments include working as a Nursery Coordinator; as Volunteer Donation Organizer and Collector: Toys for Tots (SCA); as long-term babysitter to several Grove City families; as a school Teacher’s Aide and as a playhouse aide.
One of my former babysitees, now a teenager in her own right, had this to say: "You were definitely the best babysitter I'd ever had."
However, my most beloved achievement is being the proud mother of a wonderful 10-year-old son and 14 year-old-daughter.
