When Would I Need Backup Care?
Your child is ill.
Your regular caregiver is ill, on vacation, or has a sudden emergency.
Your regular child care arrangements break down and You need time to find a new arrangement.
Your child's school or center is closed for a holiday, vacation, teacher training, inclement weather or emergency.
Unexpected circumstances such as travel for work, overtime, car trouble. Backup child care service is a temporary, emergency, short-term or otherwise occasional service offered to those whose regular child care services somehow fail to meet what is desired by the parent/guardian.
Registered families just make the call as soon as service is requested, or schedule ahead to guarantee availability. For full-day service, an hour of advance notice is recommended. I am available for child care service requests of alternate durations, so please be sure to inquire for the duration that best suits your needs.
